You can use your Poynt devices with the native talech app as a full Point of Sale (POS) solution, or as an integrated reader with your existing talech POS set up.

How it works
The Poynt uses a modified version of the Android operating system. This means that it can take payments but can also utilize apps - such as the talech app!
The Poynt can work in one of two ways:

As a point of sale: Using the Poynt as a point of sale means the Poynt handles the POS functionality through the talech Register app (ringing up orders, creating products, etc.) and the payment processing (communicating with your processor to deduct funds from your customer bank accounts) so there is no need for an external card reader.

As a semi-integrated card reader: Using the Poynt device as a semi-integrated card reader simply means that the Poynt only functions as a card reader.
