This article will show you how to manage new and open orders on talech Mobile.
New order option allows you to:
- Create a new order
- Add a custom item in the order
- Edit items in the order
Open order option allows you to:
- Search orders
- Recall open orders to update or change
- See list of open orders sorted by created date and time stamp
- Save order to return to later

New order
Create a new order
Follow these steps to create a new order.
- Navigate to the talech Mobile home screen and select Register.
- Select an Item from the menu to add to the shopping cart.
- Select Pay at the bottom of the screen.
- Select payment method.
- Select Charge at the bottom of the screen.

Add a custom item to the order
Follow these steps to add a custom item to the order.
- Navigate to the talech Mobile home screen and select Register.
- Select Custom Item at the top of the screen.
- Update the name of the item.
- Enter the price of the item.
- Enable taxes if applicable.
- Select Save at the top right.

Edit items in the order
Follow these steps to remove, apply a discount to, apply service charges to, or edit quantity of items already added to the order. All steps start in the cart screen
Remove item
- Select the Item to be removed and swipe it to the left.
- Select Delete.
Apply discount
- Select Discount at the bottom of the screen. Enter in the Percentage or Dollar Value to apply the discount.
- Select Done.
Service charges
For additional details on service charges, click Service Charges.
Edit quantity
- Select the Item for quantity edits and use the - or +.

Open and closed orders
Follow these steps to search for an open or closed order using the order number.
- Open the talech Mobile app and select Orders.
- Select the tab for Open or Closed orders, as is applicable.
- Select the Search Button in the top right of the screen.
- Enter the Order Number.

Save an order to return to later
Follow these steps to save an order that can be edited or paid later.- Open the talech Mobile app and select Register.
- Select Item(s) to be added to the cart.
- Select the Three Dots at the top right of the cart screen.
- Select Save.

Select an open order to update or change
Follow these steps to edit and take payments for open orders.- Open the talech Mobile app and select Orders.
- Under the Open Orders tab, select the Order to be edited or paid.
- Edit any required items, and then select Pay at the bottom of the screen.
