Discounts, monetary or a percentage off, can be applied to open orders using talech Mobile. The following instructions are how to apply a discount to an active order or by navigating to an open order to add the discount.

 

Note: talech Mobile accounts offer basic discount options. If there is a need for buy-one-get-one (BOGO) discounts, please contact your sales agents to find the best account option to meet your business needs.

How to apply a discount to an active order on talech Mobile

While creating an order on talech Mobile, there is an option to add a discount before having your customer pay. The following are the steps to apply a discount on an active order.

  1. Log into the talech Mobile app. 
  2. Go to Register from the Dashboard.
  3. Add the appropriate items by tapping on the item. For services, tap the service item and enter the time if required. 
  4. Select the cart button in the lower right-hand corner. 
  5. Select the blue Discount link under Subtotal in the cart view.
  6. Set the discount for a monetary value or percentage by selecting the appropriate icon button. 
  7. Enter the Discount value as either the monetary amount or percentage based on the discount type. 
  8. Select Done or Save, depending on your mobile device, to apply the discount to the order.
  9. Confirm the discount shows correctly in the order. 
  10. Proceed with processing the payment by selecting Pay or select the ellipsis (kabob) menu in the top right corner for more options.

How to apply a discount to an open order on talech Mobile

If there is an open order within talech Mobile, a discount can be applied to the order before it is paid. The following are the steps on how to apply a discount to an open order. 

  1. Log into the talech Mobile app. 
  2. Select Orders from the Dashboard. 
  3. Find and select the open order from the list.
  4. Select Discount in the cart view.
  5. Select the appropriate discount type button to set the discount for a monetary value or percentage.  
  6. Enter the Discount value as either the monetary amount or percentage based on the discount type. 
  7. Select Save in the top right-hand corner to apply the discount to the order.
  8. Confirm the discount shows correctly in the order cart.
  9. Proceed with processing the payment by selecting Pay or select the ellipsis (kabob) menu in the top right corner for more options.
