This feature is available to restaurant merchants with talech Premium. Table Layout allows you to set up a floor plan, view open and seated tables, open an order, and assign tables to servers.

Create a Room(s)
- In talech Register, navigate to Dashboard >Tables.
- talech creates a generic room called Dining Room. Select the pencil in the top right corner to enter edit mode.
- Select the + Add Room box to create additional rooms.
- Select Save in the top right corner when finished.
Note: In edit mode, you can also select an existing room to update its name.

Create tables and obstacles
- Navigate to Dashboard > Tables.
- Select one of the available Rooms.
- Select the pencil icon in the top right corner to enter edit mode.
- Using two fingers, you can pinch and pull the blue floor to create more/less table space.
- From the top, select a table or obstacle shape and drag it onto the restaurant floor.
- Once a table is on the canvas, use two fingers to pinch and pull on the table to change its size.
- Select a table to update its settings. You can assign a name or table #, declare the number of seats, set a table size, and make the table available or unavailable.
- Save all changes.

Start an order from the Table Layout
- Navigate to Dashboard > Tables.
- Select an available room.
- Select an available table (tables with guests already seated will appear either red, orange, or blue).
- A window prompt will appear. You can verify that the correct table is selected, enter the number of guests, select a server, and enter a customer account if applicable.
- Select the Start Order button.

Create table turn thresholds
You can now better track how long guests have occupied tables with two fully customizable thresholds: warning time and overtime.
To set a timing threshold:
- Navigate to Back Office > Settings > Tables.
- When a table has reached the threshold, the table will turn orange for the ‘Warning Time’ threshold and red for the ‘Over Time’ threshold, in the ‘Tables’ view.
- Select the desired times for your ‘Warning Time’ and ‘Over Time’ thresholds.
