You can change the sales tax setting for an individual item from the Products view. You will first need to create the tax rates under Settings > Taxes. Please see Creating a Tax Rate on the talech Register for details.
- Sign into talech.com.
- Select Items > Products.
- Select the item you wish to edit and scroll down to the Taxes section.
- Any tax that has already been applied to the product appears here. To add a new tax, select the Add existing tax field and select the tax you want to add.
- Once done, select Save Changes. Or if you have a multi-store select Save Options. Then select if you want to save the changes to this store only or sync and save the changes across all your stores.
