talech Register on iPad and Android offers business customizations for your point-of-sale. This article will outline the general settings available for the different Register types.
Access the general settings via Back Office > Settings > General.

Modifiers
|
There are 3 or 4 options within this category (depending on Register type):
Print Default Modifiers: Switching this setting on will print the default selection for modifiers, e.g., a burger comes with a Burger Modifier containing Pickles, Tomato, and Lettuce selected by default. With this setting disabled, the default selections will not be printed unless the user explicitly removes one in which case the app will reflect 'NO <modifier option>'.
Print Modifier Name: When enabled, prints the name of the modifier above the selected options when an item with modifiers is added to an order. For example, a coffee product with a modifier for milk might also display "Coffee Modifiers" above "Soy Milk" with this setting enabled rather than 'Coffee product' and 'Soy Milk' underneath.
Display 'Show All Modifiers' button: This setting shows all the modifiers of the product.
(iPad only) Skip Modifier Selection When Adding Item To Order: When enabled, it doesn’t force you to select from the modifiers available when adding the item to an order. You must select the item once added to edit the modifiers.
