There are Shortcuts that need to be disabled in the iPad’s keyboard settings.  

  1. Go to the iPad settings on the home screen.  
  2. Select General on the left, then select Keyboards.  
  3. Within the Keyboards settings, ensure Shortcuts is disabled.
