The Detached Customer Facing Display (CFD) is an external display used with the single screen talech Register.
This article will cover the following:
General setup
The Detached CFD comes with a USB-C cord for connecting to the talech Register (single screen model) and a DC power cord. If a longer USB-C cord is required to place the Detached CFD further away from talech Register, purchase a USB C to C Cable - 3.1 Gen 1 5A CM-CM.
Set up the display

Remove the stand cover (A) and back right panel (B) from the CFD.

Route the USB-C cable up through the cable hole in the stand.

Connect the USB-C cord in the USB-C port on the right panel.

Replace the panels on the CFD.
Connect to the talech Register
Use the other end of the USB-C cable from the detached CFD and connect it to the USB-C port on the talech Register.

Display settings
There are five On-Screen Display (OSD) buttons on the back of the display. These can be used to adjust various settings.
