The home page of talech.com provides a snapshot of how your business is performing for the day, a navigation menu with tools and settings for your business, as well as links to other resources for learning more about talech.
This article will cover the basic elements found on the home page.
Report widgets
- Login to talech.com.
- On the home page, there are various widgets to see your income at a glance and shortcuts to perform common actions. By default, the data is shown for the current day but can be changed by selecting the calendar dropdown and a different time period.
- There are six income widgets that provide a quick view of your income for the selected time frame.
- On the left is an Income Summary showing you details and totals for gross and net revenue.
- On the right are four smaller widgets showing the income earned from Closed Orders, the total amount in Open Orders, the total cost of the items sold, and the profitability of the items sold.
- In the middle is a Tops Sales by widget that allows you to view your top sales by Product, Category, Employee, Discount or Tag. Use the dropdown menu to change the sales metric.
- In the top right are shortcuts to common actions. They include adding a new product, adding a new service, adding a new customer, and adding a new invoice. Clicking one of these buttons will automatically open the form to create that new item.

Navigation menu
The left navigation menu contains links to tools and settings to manage your business. Depending on your type of business and tier, the navigation options may differ slightly.
Items, Employees, Website, and Settings have sub-navigation menus that expand when selected. To close the sub-navigation menu, select Back to Main Menu.
A Search bar is also available at the top of the navigation page. It allows you to search the site to find different pages and actions available. Click the Search field to open the search panel.
Enter your search criteria in the Search field and the results will appear below. Click on one of the results to navigate to this page or open the new menu corresponding to this action.
