Your online ordering menu will show or hide products for your customers to order based on whether they are enabled for online ordering. This article will show you how to enable categories and products so you can customize which products appear on your online ordering website.Show/hide products for online ordering
Products can be shown or hidden from online ordering by first enabling the categories for your products. Once the categories are enabled, individual products can be managed to appear or not appear in online ordering.
Manage categories
Enabling a category for online ordering allows the products within the category to be enabled for online ordering. Disabling a category for online ordering removes all the products within the category from online ordering.
Follow these steps to manage your categories for your online ordering website.
- Log in to talech.com.
- Navigate to Website > Website Settings.
- In the Menu Categories section, select the categories that you want to include in your online ordering website. Deselect any categories that you do not want to include.
Any category that has been enabled will display any product that has been enabled for online ordering. If a product isn’t showing on your website, make sure the category is enabled first. Then, check the individual product by following the steps in the next section Show or hide products.
Show or hide products
To individually show or hide a product from your online ordering website, follow these steps. The category for the product must also be enabled for online ordering in order for the product to appear on your website.
- Navigate to Items > Products.
- Select a product from your list.
- At the bottom of the Product Details section, toggle Include product in online store on to include in your online ordering website. Toggle this off to hide the product from your online ordering website.

Repeat this process for as many other individual products as necessary.
FAQ
My category is enabled for online ordering, but not all the products within that category are showing on my online ordering website.
Go to Items > Products and select each product that isn’t showing on your website. In the Product Details section at the top, make sure the toggle for Include product in online store is in the On position.
My product is enabled for my online store, but it’s not showing on my online ordering website.
Go to Website > Website Settings and ensure the category that product is part of is enabled for online ordering. If it’s disabled, it won’t show any products in that category on your website.
