Operations reports
Use the following reports to gain insights into your business operations.
Cash drawer reports
You need to know how much money is in your cash drawer at any given time so that you can add cash where needed and determine the types of transactions that are driving significant changes. This is where the Cash Drawer Summary report can be useful.
If you see significant changes or anomalies in cash drawer balances, you need a way to identify those anomalies and explore the kind of activity that is causing them and who’s doing it. This is where the Cash Drawer Summary by Shift report can help.

Voids reports
This report is available to restaurant business types. What are voids? A void is any item from the menu that has been:
- Added to an order, then removed.
- Added to an order, printed, then removed.
- Added to an order, sent to the kitchen, then removed.
If an item is sent to the kitchen by mistake or the customer receives an incorrect item that needs to be removed from their bill, the item can be voided from the ticket.
Having visibility into the most commonly voided items and reason for the voids can help you determine if a menu change or process adjustment may be needed. This is where the Voids Summary report can be beneficial.

It also may be helpful to track which employees and approvers are issuing voids to keep an eye on any erroneous activity indicating potential training opportunities for staff. The Voided Items Detail report can provide key insights here.

This data could also highlight effective cross-selling strategies for broader team adoption. The Product Sold by Employee report can be useful here.
