Printers have a variety of settings that can be configured to fit your business needs. Available settings vary slightly depending on whether you are using an Android or iPad device with your Elavon Register software. This article will outline the various settings and which device they are available on.

To access global printer settings, navigate to the Back Office > Settings > Printers > Advanced.

Specific printer settings
You can also modify the settings for a specific printer allowing you to customize how it behaves.
Navigate to Back Office > Settings > Printers > select the name of the printer you want to modify.
| Tip! If you aren’t certain which printer is which, tap on the name and perform a test print. This will identify which printer you are modifying. |

Order ticket printing: advanced settings
These settings typically apply to Kitchen printers and determine how an order should appear on a docket. To modify these settings, navigate to Back Office > Settings > Printers > select the name of the printer > Advanced Settings under Order Ticket Printing.
By toggling these options on and off, you can scroll on the right of the screen to see a preview of what your order docket would look like (on iPad only).
