If an employee does not have permission to process a void, discount, or return, it will require an approval from an authorized employee such as a Manager, Admin, Store Owner, etc.  

Manager overrides can be performed via PIN entry or Manager Swipe Card (if supported). 

The process is the same for all override situations.

  1. From the talech Register App, the employee will select the Return, Discount, or swipe an item to Void (restaurant). 
  2. A PIN screen will pop-up for the manager to enter their PIN number or swipe their card for approval.

  1. Once approval has been entered, the employee can proceed to process the transactions as needed.
