Please Note:
- If you are using an EMV Debit Card Reader, you must have your signature settings set to Sign on Device for your talech Register to prompt adding a tip to the transaction.
- If you have the signature setting option set to Sign on Paper, the talech Register will not be able to add a tip at the time of the transaction and you will not be able to later adjust the tip on the settlement screen.
How to Enable Sign on Device
- Go to talech Register and select Back Office > Settings.
- Under General scroll down to the Signature and Tips section.
- Tap on ‘Customer Signature’ and select ‘Sign on Device’.
Talech will now prompt your customers to add a tip to the transaction prior to PIN entry, allowing your debit card customers to leave a tip.
