When you close a Merchant ID, you should receive an automated email confirming closure. If you are still receiving bills, check the following:
- Return all rented equipment โ If equipment has not been returned, you may continue to be billed. Contact Paytura at 1-855-4-PAYTURA for return assistance.
- Review statements in Payments Insider for other ongoing charges.
- Verify closure โ Contact Paytura to confirm the account is fully closed and to halt charges or request refunds.
Note: Inquiring how to close, returning equipment only, or closing while keeping equipment may leave the MID active and billing may continue.
