From talech.com you have access to our suite of advanced reporting features as well as some legacy reports from the talech Classic experience that provide key metrics for the products/services sold in your business including those related to your categories, tags, discounts used and suppliers.

These reports are found under the Products and Services category on the Reports dashboard.

Access reports

All reports are available by logging in to talech.com and selecting Reports from the left navigation menu.

More information on the advanced reporting features for the talech New reports can be found in our overview article Reports on talech.com. The talech Classic reports do not have the advanced reporting features – they mirror the reports that were available on the previous Classic version of talech.com.

Sales reports

Sales by Item report

To help improve decision making about the products or services you offer, you need to be able to identify the highest and lowest performers, seasonal trends, impact of marketing efforts or obtain data to support your pricing strategies. This is where the Sales by Item report can be a valuable tool.

Sales by Item report: Overview of your sales data by item (products, bundles, and services). Compare sales of different items or compare different item performance over time or segmented by days of the week across various sales metrics.

Sales by Category report

To help improve inventory planning and effective product or service groupings, you need to be able to identify high and low performing categories and reveal demand patterns across categories. You may also want to gain additional insights to target promotions toward high-demand categories. This is where the Sales by Category report can be of help.

Sales by Category report: Overview of your product sales data by category. Compare sales of different categories and category performance over time across various sales metrics.

Tags reports

Product tags offer a way to group, track and report on sets of products defined by tags. Tracking items by tag gives you granular insight into how specific sets of products are performing. This helps identify product groupings that need to be refined, drive focused promotions or aid stock management to reduce shortages. The Sales by Tag report can be useful here.

Sales by Tag report: Summary of gross and net revenue, discounts, etc., for each tag used within the selected reporting period. Compare sets of different products or sets of categories over time across various sales metrics.

Top Tags by Revenue report: Summary of gross and net revenue, discounts, etc., for each tag used within the selected reporting period.

Discount Used report

Tracking discounts used by employee, total values per discount, and the total number of discounts provided over a date range can help you understand how discounts are being utilized in your business. The Discount Used report can provide insight here.

Product reports

Product Mix report

Having insight into which products are key revenue drivers or are underperformers can help prioritize certain categories or sets of products within tags for better inventory management. The Product Mix report can provide insight here.
